Treatment Overview
Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation or cosmetic tattooing, involves the application of pigments to the skin’s surface to create the appearance of makeup that lasts for an extended period. It’s a form of tattooing, where pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin using various techniques.
At Wentworth Aesthetics we offer Lip Blush, Powder Brows and Lash line enhancement
Lip Blush
We offer natural looking lip blushing to give pale lips a wash, a gloss and go look or colour or to neutralise dark lips. Results can last up to a year after the 6 week top up.
Brows
If you are tired of drawing your eyebrows on, permanent make up can be applied to help shape and fill in sparse brows.Results can last 1-2 years after 6 week top up depending on the individual
Lash line
Semi permanent lash line enhancement can create the look of fuller darker eye lashes. Results can last up to 2 years after the 6 week top up.
FAQ
Will it hurt?
A pre numbing cream is used before treatment and an additional numbing solution is used during the treatment to make it as comfortable as possible
How long do treatments take?
Treatments can take 2-3 hours to complete on the first session, top ups may be slightly shorter
Will I need a second session
A top up / refining session is strongly advised after the initial treatment, this is to perfect the shape or colour that may have been lost through the natural skin healing process. A top up session is included in the initial price and should be taken 8-12 weeks after the initial session
How long will it last?
Permanent make up can last many years but we recommend 12-18 month colour boost sessions for lips to keep the colour fresh and slightly longer for brows and lash line
Can I have Lip Blush if I’m prone to cold sores?
Yes you can however it is recommended you take a course of anti viral medication 3-4 days before your treatment and 3-4 days post treatment as lip blushing can bring out the cold sore virus, if you already have it. Lip blushing will not cause a cold sore if you do not have the virus. Our Dr on-site is able to prescribe any medication required for you
